Just storing some of my fave links here, introducing some Chinese BL anime/novels..
Many Chinese novels have epic adventure kind of storylines, typical novels are at least 100+ chapters long. But only a couple have been fully translated. Tip of the iceberg guysss!! I will explain more on the extensive world of Chinese web novels (of which a lot are BL) in a future post when I have structured it out in my mind.
This is the completely translated / almost completely translated / lots of chapters translated list.

The anime (or donghua = Chinese anime) is highly recommended, China is really coming in as a juggernaut in the animation field, you’ll see here! Apparently lots of Japanese anime are animated by outsourced Chinese companies that don’t get credited. Well that’s what I read anyway and it does sound possible.
NEW: There is also a live action drama for this!! Its called The Untamed / 陈情令 and the production value is high and the actors are cute!!! sometimes i just go “awwww” at Wei Wuxian in the drama :’) he is so cute pls!

This is everything and this has everything, you’ll see what I mean later.. in my opinion this uke is the best and strongest uke ever, he is #1 rank by far!!

It reminds me a bit of Liar Game and Senlin Ascends (non BL stories lol)

There some bittersweet and angst feels but.. what is BL without some angst??!! And also u will definitely get your angsty feel’s worth because it will lead to………. the BEST first REAL kiss scene ever ever everrrrrrrrr (the first accidental kiss doesn’t count)
But the storyline (without the yaoi parts) is great too

Note: The translation speed is lightning fast but the flow is… not for web novel beginners lol. If you usually read English books and are new to Chinese translations, you might get a bit of a shock. This story is super cute, I’ve finished reading it in the original language some time ago and had warm fuzzy feelings for a few days after.. Here goes my summary~ 🙂
Once upon a time in ancient China, there was a beautiful and cute uke who just wanted to study hard and get a ministerial job. But the overbearing Emperor (who is unsurpassedly handsome) fell for him and took him as Empress instead! However, tragically, the Emperor died before his Empress’s career started.
